First week in Jose C. Paz!

Hello!

My first week in Jose c. Paz was really good! I love this area already and there is a lot of potential here! it’s just like my last area, where they haven’t baptized in a while, but that’s why I’m here, to change that! ;) jaja It’s been super great here and I’m going to have a good time in this area. It’s super tranquillo here and nothing really happens, like the only thing there is to do here in Jose C. Paz is like shop... and that’s about it. There is nothing here! So I hope we get together as a zone and play some futbol on a couple p-days!

Jose C Paz is a good area, it’s not as big as Don Torcuato but it’s still pretty big. There aren’t that many buses here so we usually walk everywhere so that’s good exercise, but the area is actually really good, it’s pretty poor so it’s great to find people. Some say it’s dangerous but honestly, I’ve been in the villa 21 and in Don Torcuato so I’m alright. it’s pretty tranquillo, don’t worry about me!

Me and Elder Howard get along great, we are already good friends. I like his work ethic and his desire, it really helps us work the best we can every day! We had a pretty great first week and we hope we can baptize this transfer, because he has been here for like 4 and a half months and hasn’t baptized yet but we are going to change that!

It’s sad that we have 20 DAYS left with President Ayre and everyone is sad he is leaving! I know that President Smith is going to be a good president, just can’t wait to meet him!

Oh and remember how I said I was in Jose C Paz 1? Well now I’m just in Jose C Paz, because Jose C Paz 2 got closed this past week cause of some stuff that was happening there, so yeah their area is closed but ours is still going!

Elder Ayres

Pics 1 to 3 - The first 2 are of me while doing divisions! On the first picture that’s Elder Kelly in the back eating subway and on the second that’s Elder Hammond, who I did divisions with, and the last one is me and Elder Howard studying this morning!

Pics 4 to 6 - Pictures of the pension, our study area first! Then the kitchen. The last one is the area right behind our study leading into our room, we have those 2 sweet chairs!

Our oven doesn’t work and we have a microwave on top of the fridge!

Pics 7 to 9 - Our beds! Then the other one is the sofa in that same room!

Well this last one is kind of ugly, it’s our ¨laundry room¨ on the left of the kitchen, it’s really small and dirty.... we don’t go in there that much, even though we cleaned everything and we clean every week. A member washes our clothes because she has a washer type machine! And we live in a one floor house, it’s pretty sweet.

Pics 10 and 11 - There’s this really pointless room leading up to our bathroom. All that stuff on the ground isn’t even ours! That’s a picture of our bathroom! It’s nice, plus it’s got the shower head on the other side of the toilet.

Pics 12 and 13 - Remember how I told you I put picture in my agendas!? These are my pictures for this transfer! The 2 on the outside are super sweet! A sister missionary named Hermana Platt made those for me! She was in my last district in Torcuato! Super sweet, I love these pictures! And the 2 pictures on the inside are of President Monson and the cold.... Well, I don’t like the cold… I know, I’m trying my best, it’s just super cold here!

Pics 14 and 15 – A picture of me in the church right next to the missionary pin board! The other one is the picture of my current chapel right now, Jose C. Paz, when it was dedicated in 1989!

Olá! 

Minha primeira semana em Jose C. Paz foi realmente boa! Eu adoro esta área e já existe um grande potencial aqui! E' como minha última área, onde eles não têm tido batismos por um tempo, mas é por isso que estou aqui, para mudar isso! ;) ahah Tem sido super otimo aqui e eu vou ter um bom tempo nesta área. É super tranquilo aqui e nada realmente acontece, como a única coisa que há para fazer aqui em José C. Paz é como comprar em lojas ... e é praticamente isso. Não há nada aqui! Então, eu espero que nós nos reunamos em breve como distrito para jogar um pouco de futebol em alguns p-days! 

Jose C Paz é uma boa área, não é tão grande como Don Torcuato, mas ainda é muito grande. Não há que muitos onibus aqui entao costumamos andar em todos os lugares de modo que é um bom exercício, mas a área é realmente muito boa; é muito pobre por isso é ótimo para encontrar pessoas.  

Alguns dizem que é perigoso, mas, honestamente, eu estive na Villa 21 e em Don Torcuato, então eu estou bem. É muito tranquilo, não se preocupe comigo! 
Eu e Elder Howard nos damos muito bem, nós já somos bons amigos. Eu gosto de sua ética de trabalho e seu desejo, isso realmente nos ajuda a trabalhar o melhor possível todos os dias! Tivemos um grande primeira semana e esperamos poder batizar esta transferência, porque ele está aqui há 4 meses e meio e não teve um batismo ainda, mas vamos mudar isso!

É triste que temos apenas 20 dias com o Presidente Ayre e todo mundo está triste, ele está terminando seu tempo como Presidente da nossa missao, mas sei que o Presidente Smith vai ser um bom presidente, mal posso esperar para conhecê-lo! 

Ah, e lembra quando eu disse que eu estava em Jose C Paz 1? Bem, agora eu sou apenas em Jose C Paz, porque Jose C Paz 2 foi fechada na semana passada por causa de algumas coisas que estavam acontecendo lá, então sim aquela área está fechada, mas a nossa ainda está aberta!

Fotos 4 a 6 - Fotos da pensão, nossa área de estudo em primeiro lugar! Em seguida, a cozinha. A última é a área logo atrás de nosso estudo que leva ao nosso quarto, temos essas 2 cadeiras muito boas!Nosso forno não funciona e temos um microondas em cima da geladeira! 

Fotos 7 a 9 - Nossas camas! Em seguida, a outra é o sofá que temos no mesmo quarto!Bem, a última é meio feia, é a nossa lavanderia no lado esquerdo da cozinha, é muito pequena e suja .... nós não vamos lá muito, mesmo que limpamos tudo e limpamos todas as semanas. Uma membro lava nossas roupas porque ela tem um tipo de máquina de lavar! E nós vivemos em uma casa terrea, entao é muito legal.

Fotos 10 e 11 - Há este quarto realmente inútil que levam ao nosso banheiro. Todas essas coisas no chão não sao nossas! Essa é uma imagem do nosso banheiro! É bom, e tem a cabeça do chuveiro do outro lado do vaso sanitário. 

Fotos 12 e 13 - Lembra que eu te disse que eu colocava uma foto em minhas agendas!? Estas são as minhas fotos para esta transferência! As 2 no lado de fora são super doces! Uma missionária, Sister Platt, fez aquelas para mim! Ela estava no meu último distrito em Torcuato! Super doce, adoro esses desenhos! E as 2 imagens no interior são do Presidente Monson e do frio .... Bem, eu não gosto do frio ... Eu sei, estou tentando o meu melhor, é apenas super frio aqui!
