Charity & Interviews

Hello! How we didn’t have much time Monday, President told us we could take some p-day time today, because yesterday we had interviews and a reunion. So, we will just answer a couple emails, write President, then we will have a district meeting and go to work. 

On Monday, President took us out for Chinese food and it was really good.

In the interview yesterday, I asked how I could help the district and our investigators progress, and we had a good conversation about those. We talked about Charity, for charity is the pure love of Christ. It is the love that Christ has for the children of men and that the children of men should have for one another. It is the highest, noblest, and strongest kind of love and the most joyous to the soul, as we learn in 1 Nephi 11:23 and other scriptures.

President also told me about setting goals for this transference, and start thinking about goals in life after the mission. I will pray and fast about it, and we will talk again about that later.

Today is really cold, and we have to get our heater fixed. Have a great rest of your week!

Caridade & Entrevistas

Olá! Como não tivemos muito tempo segunda-feira, o presidente nos disse que poderíamos ter a outra metade de nosso p-day hoje, porque ontem tivemos entrevistas e uma reunião. Então, vamos responder apenas alguns e-mails, escrever para o Presidente, então teremos uma reunião com nosso distrito e iremos ao trabalho.

Na segunda-feira, o presidente nos levou para almocar comida chinesa e foi muito bom.

Na entrevista ontem, perguntei como eu poderia ajudar o distrito e os nossos pesquisadores a progredir, e tivemos uma boa conversa sobre isso. Falamos sobre Caridade, porque a caridade é o puro amor de Cristo. É o amor que Cristo tem para os filhos dos homens e que os filhos dos homens devem ter um para o outro. É o amor mais alto, o mais nobre, o mais forte e o mais alegre para a alma, como aprendemos em 1 Nefi 11:23 e outras escrituras.

O presidente também me falou sobre definir metas para as minhas últimas 6 semanas e metas sobre a vida após a missão. Eu irei orar e jejuar sobre isso, e vamos conversar sobre isso mais tarde novamente.

Hoje está muito frio, e temos que arrumar nosso aquecedor. Tenham um ótimo restante de semana!
