Too many holidays!

Well, today is a holiday, the many that there are here in Argentina… and we forgot, so we just barely got in to write and we have 20 minutes before the cyber closes for the day!

We had a really busy week this week! We got a lot of things done, and had two miracles! When we started the week we had no idea we were going to baptize Jorge and Angel. They are sons of a recent convert and they’ve never had the desire to get baptized, but this week we had a really spiritual lesson with them and they both accepted the challenge and got baptized! I had the opportunity to baptize both of them! They are both really awesome and I’m happy for their family. They have gone through a lot of things in their lives, but by taking this step I know everything is going to just keep getting better for them.

Today we have plans to play soccer and Ping-Pong with the Ward and a couple other Elders!

Our choir is going great, we are practicing and it’s really going to come out good.

Here is a picture of us writing right now! we are with other Elders and there are only 3 computers! jaja So yeah, I have to go!

Pics 3 to 6 - Three pictures of the huge rain storm we had this week, and one of a road with trash in it.... the funny part is just that on the pool, in the left of the picture, there’s a sign that says "don’t throw trash here." jajaja

 

Pics 7 to 11 - I did divisions with Elder Andrade de Brasil this week! Then here is a picture of us when we were heating up water for the baptism yesterday! The water heater broke in the chapel! Then pictures of the baptism! The shorter, skinny one, is called Angel, and the other one is Jorge. They are two sons of a recent convert who never wanted to get baptized, but this week they changed their minds!

Bem, hoje é um feriado aqui, dos muitos que há aqui na Argentina ... e nós esquecemos, por isso, apenas mal conseguimos escrever e temos 20 minutos antes do cyber fechar para o dia!

Tivemos uma semana muito ocupada! Fizemos muita coisa, e tivemos dois milagres! Quando começamos a semana, não tínhamos ideia de que íamos batizar Jorge e Angel. Eles são filhos de uma senhora conversa recente e nunca tiveram o desejo de ser batizados, mas esta semana tivemos uma lição realmente espiritual com eles e ambos aceitaram o desafio e foram batizados! Tive a oportunidade de batizar os dois! Ambos são realmente impressionantes e estou feliz por sua família. Eles passaram por um monte de coisas em suas vidas, mas tomando este passo eu sei que tudo vai ficar cada vez melhor para eles.

Hoje temos planos de jogar futebol e Ping-Pong com a ala e outros dois Elderes!

Nosso coro está indo muito bem, estamos praticando e vai realmente sair bom.

Fotos 3 a 6 - Três fotos da tempestade enorme que tivemos esta semana, e uma de uma estrada com lixo... a parte engraçada é que na piscina, à esquerda da imagem, há um sinal que diz "não jogue lixo aqui." Jajaja

Fotos 7 a 11 - Fiz divisões com o Élder Andrade do Brasil esta semana! Então aqui está uma foto de nós quando estávamos aquecendo água para o batismo de ontem! O aquecedor quebrou na capela! Então as imagens do batismo! O mais baixo, magro, é chamado Angel, e o outro é Jorge. São dois filhos de uma senhora que se converteu recentemente que nunca quiseram ser batizados, mas esta semana mudaram de ideia!
