Hello!
We have met a lot of people this week!
Well, during my whole time here I’ve gotten to know more people than I have in
any other area I think. But unfortunately most people didn’t want anything!
jaja
That’s definitely what happened this
week. We met lots of different people, we had people this week who yelled at us
or told us to never go back or whatever, but after all that, we met one woman
called Mabel, she was the only one out of everyone that actually wanted
something, and meeting her made everything else worth it!
It’s crazy to think about all the
people we talked to all week that just didn’t want to listen, then we meet her,
and everything we teach her or tell her has been what she has been looking for
her whole life. The power of the Spirit is incredible! Miracles happen; I’ve
seen miracles out here every day.
Today we got together and played Ping-Pong
and futbol like always! This week we hope we can keep working hard and find some
people who want to listen!
This week I’ve been studying a lot of
those bible videos the Church made! I’ve been watching them and reading along
with my scriptures. They are really well done and I love them! I love the way Jesus
acts and I’ve been learning a lot about how to teach and help our
investigators.

Pics 1 to 3 - Here is a picture of a phrase that for some reason made me and
my companion laugh for like one hour the other day... jajaja - It means "If envy would be a flower the neighborhood would be a garden."
Then there is a picture of a random fire at night time....
everyone here just puts all their trash on the curb then lights it on
fire!
The last one is of a place called "Santa Elena" where
we buy all our food at!
Pics 4 to 6 - We had to do some interviews this week and they
ended late so we slept in the pension with other missionaries in the zone! It
was really great! We had us three Brazilians and one Boliviano there and we
talked all night long.
Pics 7 to 9 - We had a little Ward
activity the other day and we finished by taking pictures by the Church’s Christmas
tree!

from Fede, a convert I had in Jose C. Paz! He dressed up as Santa for a Ward
activity!

Olá!
Conhecemos muitas pessoas esta semana! Bem, durante todo o meu tempo
aqui eu tenho conhecido mais pessoas que em qualquer outra área que estive, eu
acho. Mas, infelizmente, a maioria das pessoas não queria nada! Jaja
Isso é definitivamente o que aconteceu esta semana. Nós conhecemos
muitas pessoas diferentes, tivemos pessoas esta semana que gritaram conosco ou
disseram-nos para nunca voltar e outras coisas, mas depois de tudo isso,
conhecemos uma mulher chamada Mabel, ela foi a única de todos que realmente
queria algo , e encontrá-la fez todo o resto valer a pena!
É loucura pensar sobre todas as pessoas com quem conversamos durante
toda a semana, que simplesmente não queriem sequer nos ouvir, e quando nos
encontramos com ela, e tudo o que temos ensinado a ela, ela diz que tem estado
procurando por essas verdades do Evangelho por toda sua vida. O poder do
Espírito é incrível! Milagres acontecem; Eu vejo milagres aqui todos os dias.
Hoje nós nos reunimos e jogamos Ping-Pong e futebol como sempre! Esta
semana esperamos que possamos continuar trabalhando duro e encontrar algumas
pessoas que queiram nos ouvir!
Esta semana eu tenho estudado muitos desses vídeos da bíblia que a
Igreja fez! Estive observando-os e lendo junto com minhas escrituras. Eles são
realmente bem feitos e eu adoro! Eu amo o jeito que Jesus age e eu tenho
aprendido muito sobre como ensinar e ajudar nossos pesquisadores.
Obrigado, especialmente pelas orações! Eu te amo e espero que vocês
tenham uma ótima semana! Siga o Espírito!

Fotos 1 a 3 - Aqui está uma foto de uma frase que por alguma razão fez que
eu e meu companheiro ríssemos quase uma hora do outro dia ... jajaja - está escrito "Se inveja fosse uma flor, este bairro seria um jardim."
Em seguida, há uma imagem de um fogo aleatório à noite... todos aqui
apenas colocam todos os seus lixos no final da rua e tacam fogo!
A última é de um lugar chamado "Santa Elena" onde compramos
todos os nossos alimentos!
Fotos 4 a 6 - Tivemos que fazer algumas entrevistas esta semana e elas
terminaram tarde, então dormimos na pensão com outros missionários na zona! Foi
realmente ótimo! Éramos em três brasileiros e um boliviano lá e conversamos
durante toda a noite.
Fotos 7 a 9 - Tivemos uma pequena atividade na Ala no outro dia e
terminamos tirando fotos da árvore de Natal da Igreja!
Fotos 10 a 17 - Estas são fotos da pensão que vivemos! Não é o lugar mais
limpo ou mais organizado, mas aqui está! É apenas um quarto grande!
Fotos 18 a 21 – Estas são fotos que Fede, um converso que eu tive em
José C. Paz, acabou de nos mandar! Ele se vestiu como Papai Noel para uma
atividade da Ala!
