Last Conference

This week has gone by fast and conference made it really great! I loved conference and I was sad when I realized it is going to be my last one here on the mission! But that doesn’t matter right now. 

I loved how in conference they talked about the love God has for us and His plan of salvation a lot. It’s something that really helped me out! 

We watched four of the sessions! We couldn’t watch the Priesthood one because it’s too late, it shows at 9 pm here, but I’m going to download it and listen to it!

I had many favorites but one talk that touched me was by Elder Weatherford T. Clayton. He gave an amazing talk about the Plan of Salvation and about our Savior. I loved his testimony! The plan was made for us, and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ just shows the love that God has for us. He sacrificed himself so that one day we can have the opportunity to be saved. I know this is true. I know our Savior died for all of us. I know He loves us.

Wooooo that’s so awesome about the five temples announced!

Work wise this week was great. We met a lot of new people and are working a lot with the members in the Villa. The bishop is starting to help us out a lot too so I hope we keep finding through the Ward so members will work with us. 

 

We have already found a couple incomplete families, and we are also finding friends of members that want to listen to the Gospel message we have. 

A miracle we had this week is that we were talking to a recent convert called Diego and he told us his sister has seen the changes he has made in his life after becoming a member and she wanted to come. So we talked to her, she is a single mom with 3 kids to take care of. The kids loved Church and she hasn’t had the opportunity to go yet, but she wants to this week! So, hopefully we can help them out!

We’ve found some new people and we’ve had some people who could watch conference as well! We found a couple named Luis and Ahida that are progressing really well right now! At the moment, we are finding a lot of people who are really nice, but no one wants to go to church, and this is hard because the chapel is a little far from the Villa, but I hope we can help more people come!

Today we played futebol in the morning and now we are writing, then we are going to go walk around this fair that’s in the Avillaneda!

This week I did divisions with Elder Marcom in Almagro! Other Elders live in the same building as us so we went to go visit them. :) It was great! We have this great picture too of us on the roof eating ice cream! jaja They have delivery ice cream in their area so we bought some! It was great. :)

Última Conferência

Esta semana passou rápido e com conferência foi realmente ótima! Eu amei a conferência e eu fiquei triste quando eu percebi que esta foi minha última aqui na missão! Mas isso não importa agora.

Eu amei como na conferência foi falado sobre o amor que Deus tem por nós e bastante sobre o plano de salvação. É algo que realmente me ajudou!

Vimos quatro das sessões! Nós não pudemos assistir ao Sacerdócio porque é muito tarde, inicia às 21 horas aqui, mas eu vou baixá-la para ouvir!

Eu gostei de muitos oradores e discursos, mas um que me tocou bastante foi apresentado pelo Élder Weatherford T. Clayton. Ele compartilhou um incrível discurso sobre o Plano de Salvação e sobre o nosso Salvador. Eu amei seu testemunho! O plano foi feito para nós, e o sacrifício de Jesus Cristo mostra o amor que Deus tem por nós. Cristo se sacrificou para que um dia pudéssemos ter a oportunidade de sermos salvos. Eu sei que isso é verdade. Eu sei que nosso Salvador morreu por todos nós. Eu sei que Ele nos ama.

Wooooo foi tão incrível sobre os cinco templos anunciados!

Esta semana relacionado ao trabalho foi ótimo. Nós conhecemos um monte de novas pessoas e estamos trabalhando muito com os membros da Villa. O bispo está começando a nos ajudar muito também, então espero que continuemos encontrando mais investigadores através da Ala assim os membros trabalham conosco.

Já encontramos algumas famílias incompletas, e também estamos encontrando amigos de membros que querem ouvir a mensagem do Evangelho que temos.

Um milagre que tivemos esta semana é que estávamos conversando com um converso recente chamado Diego e ele nos disse que sua irmã viu as mudanças que ele fez em sua vida depois de se tornar um membro e ela queria vir. Então, falamos com ela, ela é uma mãe sozinha com 3 filhos para cuidar. As crianças adoraram a Igreja mas ela não teve a oportunidade de vir ainda, mas ela quer esta semana! Então, espero que possamos ajudá-los!

Encontramos algumas pessoas novas e tivemos algumas pessoas que puderam assistir à conferência também! Encontramos um casal chamado Luis e Ahida que estão progredindo muito bem agora! No momento, estamos encontrando um monte de pessoas que são realmente agradáveis, mas ninguém quer ir à igreja, e isso é difícil porque a capela é um pouco longe da Villa, mas espero que possamos ajudar mais pessoas  a virem.

Hoje nós jogamos o futebol de manhã e agora nós estamos escrevendo, a seguir nós vamos andar um pouco em torno desta feira que está no Avillaneda!

Esta semana eu fiz divisões com o Élder Marcom em Almagro! Outros Elderes moram no mesmo edifício que nós, então fomos visita-los. :) Foi ótimo! Nós temos esta boa foto de nós no telhado tomando sorvete! Jaja Eles têm sorvete pronta entrega em sua área assim nós compramos alguns! Foi ótimo.
