Hello! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Christmas was awesome! Calling and talking to everyone was so great! It was so weird tho. I was there like "holy crap I'm talking to my family right now" and before I called, I don't know why but I was super nervous! But the call went great and I felt great about it. I didn't really fell that trunky or anything like that, just happy that I could call and talk to you!
About the floods in Argentina, no, we dont really have floods. In Buenos Aires it kinda floods when it rains super hard but honestly no, were fine.
My plans for the week it's just try our best honestly, because this past week was hard to work, and it was Christmas. Here in Argentina it's now big, and we keep hearing the New Year's is crazier down here, so we are trying to just do the best we can. Like this week because all the members were busy we couldn't really work, we had the lowest numbers I've had in my mission so far and that is sad, and this week is gonna be worse because of new years and everyone drinking or traveling, so we will see how it goes.

Elder Ayres
1 and 2 - This is me in the offices! We went so I thought, why not take some selfies in here!
3 and 4 - This is me and Elder Erickson, or Zone Leader, and the other is us at the zone leaders pension. the one on the far left is Elder Mella (who sounds like a complete yankee when he talks in Spanish, with all the hard Rs and everything), and the other is Elder Sacripanti. He is pretty funny and a good guy. we started our mission together so we are like brothers! Like really good friends actually too!
5 and 6 - This is me and Elder Santos, another Brazilian from Brasilia! He is awesome, his birthday was like last week and he turned 25! He is an old man! The other is a picture of our zone at the obelisco.
7 and 8 - This is another picture of the zone at the obelisco and the other is a picture of this huge bank right next to the Casa Rosada (which is the white house of Argentina).

11 and 12 - This is my companion, we were walking down the street when all of a sudden I hear this splat, and I look back and there is pigeon crap all over my companion! hahaha hilarious
13 and 14 - I made like this roll thing with the dulce de leche and it was pretty good! So I took a picture!
15 and 16 - This is a picture of us at the mission party on the 24th! First one is me and Elder Rumualdo, and the other is one that came out bad but also kinda cool with Elder Mella y Sacripanti.
17 and 18 - Picture of all the Brazilian elders in the mission and the sea!
19 and 20 - That's the ocean again, and me taking a picture with it on the background!
21 and 22 - We actually walked down to the ocean after that so here are some close pictures!
23 and 24 - One of Elder Kelly, who came with us, and me by the ocean. In the back there is the city of Buenos Aires!
25 and 26 - Another one of me next to the ocean, and the other one is me with Hermana Sabina! She is awesome! She is like our mom in our area! She is boliviana and really funny too!
27 and 28: Pictures of us at the family Chavez! They are awesome members that help us out a lot too! The husband went on his mission to Portugal, so he speaks Portuguese!
29 and 30: This is the whole familia Chavez with us! They are huge! They have 8 children, all of them except for the 3 youngest and the parents are inactive members, but with Matias, the one holding the camera in the other picture, getting his mission call to panama, I feel like they will slowly come back to the church!
31 and 32 - Picture of my Christmas presents and a picture of Hermana Sabina's Christmas tree!
33 and 34 - This is us playing basketball Christmas morning! We had like 20 Elders there and we played basketball for like 4 hours! It was so awesome!
35 and 36 - These are us watching the mission video (thats will be on Facebook later) and eating lunch!

Olá! Feliz Natal e Feliz Ano Novo!
O Natal foi demais! Ligar e falar com todos foi tão ótimo! Foi estranho um pouco… tipo, eu de repente pensei “Nossa, estou falando com minha família neste momento!” e antes de eu ligar, não sei por que, mas eu estava super nervosa! Mas a ligação foi ótima e eu fiquei feliz. Eu não fiquei saudoso ou triste, apenas feliz que pude ligar e falar com todos vocês!
Meu companheiro também teve uma ligação ótima com a família,
e algo mudou na noite que falamos com nossas famílias. Alguma coisa aconteceu,
porque agora, nós dois estamos super focados e trabalhando mais que antes. Meu
companheiro é ótimo e uma coisa que temos aprendido definitivamente nesses últimos
dois dias é que servir nosso companheiro é crucial. Isso constroi nosso
relacionamento e realmente nos ajuda a ver o que o outro precisa.
Sobre as inundações na Argentina, não, nós realmente não
temos aqui. Em Buenos Aires acontecem algumas só quando chove super forte, mas
honestamente estamos bem.
Meus planos para a semana é somente trabalhar o melhor que
podemos, porque esta semana passada foi super difícil, e era Natal. Aqui na
Argentina é um feriado bem grande, e muitos nos dizem que será ainda mais louco
no Ano Novo, então estamos tentando trabalhar o melhor que podemos. A maioria
dos membros está ocupada e tivemos os mais baixos números da minha missão até
agora, e isso é triste, e parece que essa semana será pior porque todos estão bêbados, viajando...
então veremos como será.

Fotos 1 e 2: Este sou eu nos escritórios. Nós fomos aí eu
pensei, por que não tirar uma selfie aqui?
Fotos 3 e 4: Este sou eu e Elder Erickson, nosso líder de
zona. E a outra somos nós na pensão de nossos líderes de zona. O primeiro à
esquerda é Elder Mella (ele soa como um perfeito yankee quando ele fala espanhol,
com todos os Rs e tudo mais), e o outro é Elder Sacripanti. Ele é muito
engraçado e um cara excelente, nós começamos nossa missão juntos e somos como
irmãos! Tipo, muitos bons amigos mesmo!

Brasília! E ele é muito legal, seu aniversário foi semana passada e ele
completou 25 anos! Ele é um homem velho! A outra foto é de nossa zona em frente

na rua quando de repente eu escutei esse barulho e olhei pra trás e tinha um
monte de cocô de Pombo sobre meu companheiro… ahahah hilário!

leite e estava muito bom, então eu tirei uma foto!

ótimos membros e nos ajudam muito também. O marido fez missão em Portugal,
então ele fala português!

são muitos! Eles têm 8 filhos, todos exceto 3 dos mais novos, e os pais são
inativos, mas com Matias, o que está segurando a camera na outra foto,
recebendo seu chamado para o Panamá, eu sinto que eles aos poucos voltarão a
Igreja!
